Terms of Service

1. The service

EgoX is a personal career knowledge base: you upload material about your own work history, and the service structures it, makes it searchable, and generates artifacts like resumes from it. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your content

Everything you upload stays yours. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the service: storing your content, indexing it, and sending it to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy to produce the outputs you request. You can export everything at any time and delete your account (and all its data) yourself in Settings.

3. Acceptable use

• Only upload content you have the right to use.
• Don't attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service.
• Don't use the service to generate misleading credentials — resume outputs are grounded in what you provide, and what you provide should be true.

4. AI outputs

Generated content (extractions, chat answers, resumes) is produced by large language models and can contain mistakes. Review outputs before relying on them; you are responsible for what you submit to employers.

5. Plans and billing

The Free plan has usage limits. Paid plans are billed through Stripe; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Usage limits exist to keep AI costs sustainable and may be tuned with notice.

6. Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before a claim.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
